"Designating a portion of my retirement assets was an easy and efficient way to fulfill my desire to continue my support of UA Little Rock Public Radio for future generations."

Brenda Booth's parents, Dick and Lydia, introduced Brenda to classical music at an early age. Brenda has held on to her love of classical music to this day. In 1992, Brenda had the opportunity to accept faculty positions at multiple universities.

"When I was considering whether to accept a faculty position at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, it was very important to me that Little Rock had both a National Public Radio affiliate and a classical music radio station. As I pondered my decision, I realized that having KLRE/KUAR UA Little Rock Public Radio, along with a great symphony orchestra, would be a major contributor to quality of life in Central Arkansas. I moved to Little Rock in June 1992 and I have pledged to KUAR/KLRE each year since then, and it always gives me great pleasure to do so. UA Little Rock makes a huge contribution to Central Arkansas by hosting and supporting these two stations."

Throughout her years at Little Rock, Brenda has continued her support of KLRE/KUAR public radio. Her annual support gave rise to an estate gift, which consists of designating a portion of her retirement account. Her endowed funds will support KLRE/KUAR public radio in perpetuity.

"Designating a portion of my retirement assets was an easy and efficient way to fulfill my desire to continue my support of UA Little Rock Public Radio for future generations," Brenda says.
